Melanie Ellner
Melanie Ellner joined the firm in August of 2021. Since then, she has been devoted to helping our clients obtain justice after suffering catastrophic injury. Ms. Ellner focuses her practice on a variety of personal injury cases including those involving motor vehicle crashes, premises liability, v labor law, construction injuries and medical malpractice. She is engaged in all aspects of litigation and zealously advocates for our clients, making sure they receive full and fair compensation for their injuries. Melanie has litigated numerous cases that have resulted in large verdicts and settlements, including one recently that resulted in a $500,000.00 verdict for a man who was t-boned in a severe automobile accident.
Melanie received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Stony Brook University in 2016, graduating with a double major in Political Science and Psychology.
Melanie earned her Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2019. While at Brooklyn Law, Melanie was a member of Brooklyn Law School Students for the Public Interest (BLSPI), and further served as Music Chair for the Brooklyn Entertainment and Sports Law Society (BESLS). Melanie also participated in a variety of hands-on legal clinics, including the Children’s Law Center, where she appeared in Court on behalf of abused and neglected children under the New York State Student Practice Order. Also during her time in law school, Melanie was a legal intern for a prestigious Plaintiff’s Personal Injury firm in the Financial District of Manhattan. It was there where she first developed her passion for general negligence and tort litigation.
After her admission to the New Yok State Bar Association, Melanie joined a Personal Injury Defense firm and received the unique experience of working for “the other side”. Ultimately, she realized her preference for Plaintiff’s work and thereafter joined The Law Office of Dino Domina. While having established herself as a well accomplished litigator, Ms. Ellner takes the most pride in her dedication to client contact and in always making herself available to discuss any questions or concerns that her clients may have throughout their case.
